Farmers Market Will Continue Every Week in Winter Garden

The Winter Garden Farmers Market took place Saturday March 21st and will continue to take place each week according to the organizers.

The market takes place Saturdays 9am to 2pm at 104 S Lakeview Ave, Winter Garden (MAP).

The market announced on social media that its staying open “to ensure that fresh food is available to our residents.”

Offerings will be scaled back to include food items only like vegetables, fruit, bread, dairy, seafood, meat and select prepared foods.


Vendors booths and check out will be staggered to meet social distancing requirements.

The following parameters will be implemented by the market:

  1. Only produce and packaged food items will be sold

  2. Vendors shall follow an enhanced screening criteria for all owners/employees as established by the state

  3. No food preparation will be allowed

  4. No sampling of unpackaged food is permitted

  5. Hand watering and hand sanitizer stations shall be placed throughout the market

  6. Signage shall be posted reminding customers to follow social distancing and hand washing/sanitizing

  7. Ensure that crowds are staggered to provide social distancing for customers

  8. Allow for space between tents and check out

  9. Ensure restrooms are constantly sanitized and stocked with soap and paper towels at all times

  10. All vendors and employees will be screened using criteria from Executive Order 20-68 as it applies to restaurant workers
