Street Closures This Weekend for Immerse 2019 Presented by Creative City Project

This weekend, in addition to downtown's regular active and vibrant scene, the City of Orlando is excited to welcome annual performing and interactive arts event, “IMMERSE 2019 presented by Creative City Project”, to downtown Orlando.

Now in its seventh year, IMMERSE 2019 will bring together more than 1,000 artists and performers in the heart of downtown Orlando for a spectacular display of creativity and community through music, dance, acrobats, murals, projection experiences, theater and interactive installations.

Setup for this large-scale event will begin early in the week ahead of weekend festivities, resulting in the following street closures beginning Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 10 a.m., through Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 5 a.m.

  • Orange Avenue from Central Boulevard to Anderson Street

  • Pine Street between Garland Avenue and Court Avenue (local traffic maintains access)

  • Church Street from Garland Avenue to Court Avenue

  • Eastbound South Street from Boone Avenue to Orange Avenue

Event attendees, residents and commuters are encouraged to leave early and plan their route and parking locations ahead of time during the scheduled street closures to allow  time for both anticipated and unforeseen delays.
