Disney Raises Florida Resident Annual Pass Rates

Walt Disney World raised its rates on Florida Resident Annual Passes last week. It's most likely a crowd control effort with Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opening in 2.5 months according to Orlando Sentinel.


Theme Park Insider agrees: "(They're) obviously... looking to contain attendance..." The last time they raised the rates was in October according to WESH.


There are unsubstantiated reports that passholders will get special preview days according to CinemaBlend.

  • Platinum Plus pass - $999 up 18%

  • Platinum Pass - $899 up 20%

  • Gold Pass - $699 up 15%

  • Silver Pass - $519

  • Select Pass - $439

  • Weekday Select Pass - $349

  • Epcot After 4pm Pass - $309

  • Water Parks - $139

  • Water Parks After 2pm - $89


Disney Tourist Blog says there's an even more expensive pass: the Disney Premier Annual Pass. This thing went from $1,949 to $2,099 and gets you admission to all the parks at both Disneyland and Disney World.
