Blueprint 2.0 Job Training Program gets $75,000

Local Wells Fargo leaders will join Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Commissioner Regina I. Hill and the Central Florida Urban League (Website) and CareerSource Central Florida (Website) to announce a $75,000 grant to further the City’s new Blueprint 2.0 program Wednesday, Oct. 23rd at 10am at Orlando City Hall Rotunda. Led by Commissioner Regina I. Hill, Blueprint 2.0 is a new iteration of the original BLUEPRINT Program (Website) launched in connection with the Community Venues construction.  This new initiative will connect residents to more than 100 job and vocational training opportunities in the Central Florida region. The new program is made possible through partnerships with the Central Florida Urban League and CareerSource Central Florida. The Wells Fargo Foundation grant will help the Central Florida Urban League offer this program at its new offices on West Church Street in Parramore and provide guidance to any resident interested in learning more about or enrolling in job training programs.
