The properties across from and beside Winter Park Tower will see extensive change over the coming years due to the probable passing of the amendment to the City's comprehensive plan creating the Orange Avenue Overlay District (Website). This Amendment is expected to kick off an influx of residential and commercial mixed use projects as well as the creation of public gathering areas. The Amendment had its first reading in front of City of Winter Park Commissioners January 16th.
