A 24-unit 3 story apartment building with 16,550 sq ft of ground floor retail/restaurant space will replace The Venue arts hub and performance building at 511 Virginia Drive (MAP) and will become a part of The Yard at Ivanhoe (Website) development, a 630-apartment mixed use development currently under construction near the corner of Orange Avenue & Virginia Drive in Ivanhoe Village according to Growthspotter.
The Venue will close its doors for good September 12th according to Bungalower. The arts group that runs it was supposed to move into The Yard at Ivanhoe, but in a livestream message earlier this year, the owner, Blue Star, said the move would not be happening after all according to Orlando Weekly.
