Kill some time trying on lipsticks and matching your skin tone for the perfect foundation at Sephora Winter Park when it opens in July.
Sephora is coming to Winter Park inside the Whole Foods shopping center at 1030 N Orlando Ave. The store is scheduled to open in July.
Founded in 1969, Sephora offers beauty fans the chance to touch and test the products in the store. It has an app that allows users to obtain their exact skin tone to help them choose their ideal foundation, an app that allows users to try on lipstick shades and more. Shoppers are not hounded or "sold to." Many of them already know what they want and enjoy experimenting with new products they discover in the store.
Sephora, with 2,300 locations in 33 countries, is "the No. 1 specialty beauty retailer in the world" according to Euromonitor International. In second place is ULTA. The same company that owns it (LVMH) owns Christian Dior, Fendi, Celine, Givenchy and more. So, Sephora features these brands in the store, along with other brands LVMH doesn't own.
Other Sephora locations in Central Florida include Mall at Millenia, and several inside JCPenneys at Altamonte Mall, Orlando Fashion Square Mall and Florida Mall.
This shopping center was developed by UP Fieldgate. Recent projects include a submitted Master Plan for a 59,000 sq. ft. Rooms-To-Go Showroom at 4751 Vineland Rd. The company also created revitalization plans for Fashion Square Mall which ended up not getting executed.
