New Orange County Bike Trail Master Plan now available for viewing



The Orange County Parks and Recreation Division has put together a new version of the Trails Master Plan for its bike paths and trails and is seeking public input. The first master plan was completed in 2012. The updated plan is currently on view to the public virtually now til September 10th at 11:59pm at OcflTrailsPlan.com.


The purpose of this plan is to develop a safe, scenic and visitor-friendly system of trails and provide outdoor recreation and active transportation options.

Visitors can view maps of existing bike trails, learn about the study process, and provide input on existing trail conditions for the following trails:

  1. Avalon Trail

  2. Cady Way Trail

  3. Clarcona-Ocoee Connector Trail

  4. Horizon West Trail

  5. Innovation Way Trail

  6. Lake Apopka Loop Trail

  7. Little Econ Greenway

  8. Pine Hills Trail

  9. Shingle Creek Trail

  10. West Orange Trail


A second virtual meeting/viewing will be scheduled later for additional input on future trails.
