Hourglass District to Get Leguminati Vegan Eatery

In partnership with Foxtail Coffee, Leguminati Vegan Eatery is making a space inside the Hourglass Market in the Hourglass District.

Leguminati announced Tuesday January 9th they're making a second attempt at opening their first brick & mortar location. This will be a partnership with Foxtail Coffee inside the Hourglass Market in the Hourglass District. Plans call for an opening in the first quarter of 2018.

Leguminati will offer plant-based breakfast, lunch, and dinner options seven days a week at this location. Their menu will include everything from CrunchMacs to Breakfast Sandwiches.

This is Leguminati's second attempt at opening a brick & mortar location. Their first attempt was inside the Sandwich Bar in The Milk District. That deal fell through. We discuss that project on episode 13 of Orlando Opinions.

The Hourglass Market at 2401 Curry Ford Road (MAP) will become a dining and social hub when the dividing walls separating the existing spaces are knocked down to create one giant market space. This will be an East End Market-type space with 4 separate businesses under one roof.

1. Foxtail Coffee (Website) - This will be the brewer's second announced location outside of its original in Winter Park at 1282 N Orange Ave (MAP). Leguminati will be working directly with Foxtail. 

2. Tamale Co (Facebook) - The food truck's first-announced bricks and mortar location will open here. 

3. Bakery - As-yet-announced bakery tenant will move in.

4. Craft Beer Bar - There will be a 6-Seat craft beer bar with wine and cheese and grab & go options.
