Hourglass District Car Wash To Become Retail Spaces, New Concept for Corner Restaurant Space

The self-serve car wash structure with no front or back walls at 2416 Curry Ford Road (MAP) in the Hourglass District will be turned into a row of enclosed retail spaces according to Elise Sabatino with National Real Estate (WEB). She confirmed with The Daily City that "...we are enclosing the car wash to create retail spaces."

One of the 350 sq ft retail spaces remains available for rent. The Daily City has reached out to National Real Estate for confirmation of the signed tenants.

The 3,160 sq ft single tenant building on the corner of Bumby and Curry Ford on that same property has recently been leased out. It will be a new restaurant concept says Sabatino. "Conceptual design and exploratory menu phase is in process,"

According to a rendering found on Loopnet, there will also be a food truck area, outdoor fire pit, lighting, covered seating, restrooms, ornamental trees, artificial turf. The property looks to be, once completed, an activated and engaging outdoor eating and shopping destination.

The property also contains F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen (Website).

More information will be released by National Real Estate in 45-60 days.
