Ride the Gingerbread Express to Downtown Winter Park

On Friday, December 13, Sunrail is putting on a special one night only event sponsored by Orlando Health called Gingerbread Express (Facebook Event).


The Gingerbread Express is a special Sunrail train that rolls into the Sunrail station of your choice. Once inside, a special character will greet you and the fun begins with the distribution of a special keepsake lanyard. That is your key to enter the GingerbreadLand event which you'll visit when you disembark at the Winter Park/Amtrak station. Follow the special character from the trail to the GingerbreadLand event entrance for the mysterious fun!


After you’ve had your fun, stroll through decorated downtown Winter Park enjoying restaurants, coffee and desserts, shops and even a toy store.


All passengers must be ticketed. All children must be accompanied by an adult, 18 or over to enter GingerbreadLand.

  1. P332 Northbound from the following stations: Poinciana, Kissimmee/Amtrak, Tupperware, Meadow Woods, Sand Lake Road, Orlando Health, Church Street, LYNX Central, AdventHealth

  2. P335 Southbound from the following stations: DeBary, Sanford, Lake Mary, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, Maitland
