City Arts (Facebook) at 39 South Magnolia Avenue (MAP) in downtown Orlando will be the venue for a beauty pageant called "Creative Crown Benefit Pageant for Downtown Arts District Orlando" to raise funds for the Downtown Arts District March 14th, 9am to 12pm.
Titles to be won include Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes, and Prettiest Smile. There are 42 titles in all.
Jennifer Johnson, World Elegance Pageant Ms. Plus Florida 2019, is hosting the pageant. She says she is doing it to "empower women and the LGBTQ Community through the Arts."
The $25 entry fee includes the right to be considered for the Art Themed Outfit of Choice title and the Photogenic title. To be considered for more titles, a fee of $3 per title is be paid.
It's billed as an inclusive and diverse pageant open to everyone regardless of race, nationality, sexual orientation or gender identification. The title of Queen and King has been replaced with Royal so that everyone has an equal chance at a title.
Everyone will leave with a crown.
