New private venue called Beau Monde has opened in downtown Orlando

A new private venue called Beau Monde (Website | Instagram | Facebook) opened for business last week in downtown Orlando. It's located on the second floor of a bar called Magnolia (Website) at 13 S Magnolia Avenue (MAP).

Beau Monde's intimate setting offers up a New York-style lounge feel. Features include a signature cocktail menu, bottle service, a curated collection of art for sale on the walls, and live DJs.

The spaces' name, which means beautiful world, was inspired by the owners'(Amanda and Kameron Kaviani) love of travel, art and cocktails.

“Our venue is a much-needed addition to the Orlando nightlife and art scene,” said Kameron Kaviani.

After several years of investing heavily in the Orlando real estate market, the Kavianis purchased the building which houses Magnolia in early 2020 and created the Beau Monde space on the second floor.

“Although (just before the pandemic hit the US) wasn’t the perfect time to enter the bar and hospitality industry, we used that time when everything was closed down to accomplish some upgrades downstairs on Magnolia, without changing what people love most about the bar, and now a small-bites restaurant,” said Amanda Kaviani. “During the shutdown we also decided to develop the second floor of Magnolia into the Beau Monde."

Reservations are required.

The dress code is stiff: no hats, tee shirts, jerseys, casual bottoms, flip flops, distressed clothing, or athletic shoes are allowed.

Beau Monde's hours are limited: Fridays and Saturdays 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
