AdventHealth Winter Park hospital is making changes to a public-facing area on its property at the corner of N. Lakemont Avenue and Goodrich Avenue (MAP).
We asked the hospital for details, but they declined to comment.
The area used to be hidden by a cinder block wall that stretched the length of the property. The wall has been demolished.
The focal point of the area is a unique artistic printed screen displaying photos of large oak trees in a somewhat swampy setting. The new wall is pushed back several feet from where the original wall once stood.
In front of the screen are 8 palms, some landscaping, two bus stop structures, and some modern large round white benches still wrapped in plastic.
