University Club to Open December

With four floors of luxury interiors and lots of lovely downtown views, the private University Club of Orlando construction begins June and opens December 2018.



Construction begins in June on the University Club of Orlando located inside the 350 unit Modera Central high-rise at 150 E. Central Blvd (MAP) at Central Boulevard & Rosalind Avenue in downtown Orlando. With four floors and over 25,000 square feet, the clubhouse contains an outside terrace with views of downtown.


The University Club clubhouse includes a variety of dining options: a casual lounge, the more formal Main Dining Room, and the outdoor terrace overlooking Downtown. Members can also reserve rooms for private dining, civic events and business meetings.


The facility also houses a two-story, state-of-the-art athletic facility which can accommodate any type of workout Members desire — cardio, weight training, racquetball, basketball, yoga and more.


Opening is expected December 2018.


Modera Central is a 22-story highrise that broke ground in 2016 will contain the following:

  1. 350 multi-family residential dwelling units 

  2. 1, 2 and 3 bedroom options

  3. Elevated pool deck with views of Orlando skyline and Lake Eola

  4. Outdoor demonstration kitchen

  5. 12,384 square feet of ground floor retail space 

  6. 9,650 square feet of space on the ground floor for a new University Club facility (with an additional 5,330 square feet of ground floor mezzanine space)
