The 630-apartment mixed use development currently under construction called The Yard at Ivanhoe near the corner of Orange Avenue & Virginia Drive has signed with the company that created The Hall on Franklin in Tampa to bring a food hall to a portion of the development's 31,000 sq ft of retail space according to Orlando Sentinel.
The Hall on the Yard is touted as "the world’s first full-service food hall" by its creators. Guests will be seated, will give their orders to a server, and receive their meals from a server. This level of service differs from standard food hall service. Most food halls require their guests to walk up to each stall to place their order. Others offer guests a kiosk or central ordering counter at which guests can place one order from multiple stalls.
The Hall on the Yard will be opening soon inside a 12,250 SF two story building fronting the development at 1460 Alden Road (MAP) in Orlando.
The food hall will contain nine restaurant tenants, five event spaces, and three cocktail bars and takes up almost half of the development's 31,000 SF of retail space.
It will contain the following restaurants according to Orlando Weekly:
Chef & I (American fusion)
Poké Rose (live and raw food)
Fork & Hen (Southern)
Wabi Sabi (Japanese fusion)
True Island Cuisine (Caribbean)
Humbl (vegan/vegetarian)
Daily Bread Bakers (American bakery)
Pasion (Mexican fusion)
Spice Affair (Indian)
(The Sentinel said there will be 10 restaurants which will include Fork and Hen, Sorrellina, HUMBL, and Chef and I. According to Bungalower, there will be 12 including Humble Vegan, Fork and Hen, Fork and Sea, Chef and I, Sorellina, Orlando Meats, French Bistro, and Poke and Rose.)
