MOOM #6 | Dec 11, 2009 | Blank Space Art Lounge

MOOM (Meeting of the Orlando Minds) is one of the many live events produced by TheDailyCity.com working to create a more robust and interactive creative community in Orlando. MOOM is simple and sweet: creative producers (in any medium, at any level) connect, discuss projects, share resources and build interdisciplinary collaborations through group brainstorm in quick one-hour early morning sessions.

How does it work? Prepare to speak briefly about something you need help with: a project, plan, idea, festival, show, art space, ad campaign. Then watch the sparks fly as the group throws out ideas and suggestions to you. We go around the room for one hour until everyone's been helped. Thats it!

The Next MOOM:
8am, December 11, 2009
Blank Space Art Lounge
201 East Central Blvd, Orlando, FL

Past MOOMs
November 20, 2009 | Urban Think Bookstore
October 16, 2009 | Seven Sisters Coffee
August 14, 2009 | Roho Art and Coffee
July 24, 2009 | Rockn Joes Coffee
June 10, 2009 | Barnies Coffee

MOOM #5 | Nov 20, 2009 | 8am | Urban Think! Deli

The fifth incarnation of The Daily City's monthly creative meetup, MOOM will be Friday, November 20, 2009 from 8am-9am at Urban Think! Deli (625 East Central Boulevard, Orlando). They've generously offered to open up early just for us. (Facebook Event Page)

What is MOOM? MOOM is short for "Meeting of the Orlando Minds." TheDailyCity.com MOOM will be a place for Orlando creative movers and shakers to connect (and re-connect) with each other, to discuss details of current projects and upcoming plans, and to to share resources and build interdisciplinary collaborations that create a more robust creative community in Orlando.
