I am with you on pompoms needing wifi. But wig only 4 tables, j bet they don't want the 3-hour hangers-out filling up their place. They really need to remodel, shrink the kitchen, add more tables and add wifi during the slow hours. Maybe a "wifi happy hour" to being in folks during slow periods in the day. Or limit the wifi access to half an hour or hour max per 24 hours, per person.

Local or chain restaurant, it's the people that make the place. While I normally stick to neighborhood diners for breakfast, I had a great visit to the IHOP near Mills on Colonial recently. Our server saw us struggling to get my grumpy toddler through the door and brought a fresh order of silver dollar pancakes for the little guy before we even had time to settle him into his booster. That's what I call service!
