College Park Farmers Market Debuts New Times and Vendors
College Park Farmers Market, now being managed and marketed by TheDailyCity.com (we know, interesting, eh?), debuts its move from Thursday nights to Sunday afternoons this weekend, Sunday February 3, 2013. We know. It's Super Bowl Sunday. Woops.
The new times for the market each week are 11am-3pm.
TheDailyCity.com was asked to manage the market by the College Park Partnership.
The market will start out small and humble, with hopes to eventually grow a loyal audience with quality vendors of food, vintage clothing, sweets and more.

why compete against the lake eola farmers market??? surely there must be a better day/time for the college park one?
Why not? Who cares? I don't understand your question.
Mark hates-on everyone's comments.
Compete? I guess there's only one burger joint in town, one bar, one bank! One area has nothing to do with another...the question is when is TDC doing an event by Disney?
Im just trying to offer advice from a successful business person/event planner perspective. "who cares" is really not a smart business person response. if i was the college park farmers market vendors i would now be worries about you running it. college park is too close to downtown to have its own farmers market on the same day and at the same time. many people who live in college park looking to do the farmers market thing go to the lake eola one. it would be better and more successful if you moved the college park one to another day. edgewater has a successful one on thursdays as does audobon on mondays.
I appreciate your attempt to assist by providing your advice. That is a nice thing. Thank you. I did not understand your question so I said "I don't understand your question." Now that you've explained it clearer for me, I can respond.
The experience the downtown farmers market and Maitland Farmers Market is fabulous and needed, but it is not what College Park Farmers Market will be offering once the changes roll out over the next year.
I am adding a distinct event that the city currently does not have on a weekly basis. Also, it's perfectly fine to have three markets on one day. There are *plenty* of people in Orlando and beyond who will attend all three markets. If you think I am only going to market to College Park, you're wrong.
Thank you for listening.
Mark
I don't hate on anyone's comments. Where did *that* come from?
