Daniel Dennis Says Goodbye on Video

After Daniel Dennis' exit from the Monsters in the Morning radio show on 1041 on Clear Channel and the following twitter reaction, Daniel released a video (see above) thanking the listeners and explained (sort of) what happened with his exit from the show.

Spin it anyway you want, but Russ had a major influence over this situation. It's obvious when you read what guys like Blackbean, Tuddle, and Tiffany have all said since they were let go. Tiffany left on her own, but she stated several times that Russ was very difficult to deal with.

The show lost it's ace. Daniel was a once-in-a-long-while type of talent. Oh well, at least we have his hilarious podcast.

I spoke with Tiffany at an event and she said he was the worst. The real sad part, the best bit of the show (drunky's 1minute), now has no jokes because this guy wrote most of them :(

There's no other way to put it, Daniel Dennis was The Monster's "franchise player". Any smart person would have done whatever it takes to not let him go. Best of luck to him!

It sounds like this centers around RR, who is not funny.

Daniel seems to be the creative humor svengali behind the show, because its not funny now.

RR judgement is pretty questionable, given his track record of poorly thought out choices in the past.

I think it'll be interesting to see what the ratings are in the future.

Good luck, DD, you are an original.

Daniel was the best actually a tie between him and D. Jim. Drunky is the worst thing that happened to the Mosters - his laugh made me leave along time ago. Hope to See D.Dennis and D. Jim on their own show - dump Ross and Drunky.
