While many ghost and goblins are seen around town today these have to be the most original and cutest ones I've yet to see. These ones, spotted a recent night at Pointe Orlando, are made from paper lanterns, construction paper and white fabric.
Legoland Florida will debut it's latest addition next Friday, November 9th. The Star Wars themed mini-land features such Lego versions of Star Wars icons as the Lambda Shuttle, the spacecraft found in Episode VI Return of the Jedi. Scenes from each of the six live-action Star Wars movies, as well as a scene from the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars are featured in the new mini-land. Some of the 2,000 LEGO models will be more than 6-feet-tall. Interactive buttons will allow children to activate animations throughout the scenes. This is just the latest addition for the child focused amusement park, they also opened a water park (though it is now closed till Spring) and there are unconfirmed rumors of a new pirate land coming to the park.
The new land is not complete yet but the models have begun arriving. Here are some pictures Legoland sent our way showing off the prep work happening for the new land. For more information check out Legoland's websit…
The creative agency Say It Loud, located at the corner of Mills and Lake Highland in a 1958 one-story former paint factory, just covered all six of it's giant glass windows with custom posters encouraging locals to get out and vote. The simple yet effective message, "Vote Loud," with a smaller bullhorn beneath, is eye-catching and creative. Love it! Vote Loud!

Just blocks away from Lou Pearlman's former office where so many artists dreams were crushed last night was a celebration of four artist, from another time and place, who with a small town record exec, one that actually seemed to care about his artist, made it big. This is the story that Orlando dreamed of one day telling, though those dreams now seem about as likely as successfully hiding from the U.S. government at a beach resort in Bali.
Last night was the opening that everyone seems to be talking about. Million Dollar Quartet made it's Orlando debut with a rock and roll party of a show. The musical, in town through Nov 4th, is based around a now infamous recording session where the legends of rock and roll all gathered for one and only time.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has a new baby white rhinoceros originally born on the 26-acre white rhino habitat on Busch Gardens’ Serengeti Plain. She has spent the last week bonding with her mother out of guest view. The baby and her mother will rejoin the crash, or group of rhinos, this morning. The baby’s mother, father and another female white rhino were airlifted from Kruger National Park in South Africa in 2001 through the efforts of the International Rhino Foundation (IRF), a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of rhinos. Fewer than 15,000 white rhinos remain in the wild, and approximately 200 live in zoological facilities across North America.
