Wawa Grand Openings - The First 5 Stores

Wawa is having the grand openings of five stores in Orlando in five weeks’ time starting July 18, 2012 and running through August 15. A portion of hoagie sales for the first five stores to open (up to $5,000 per store) goes to Second Harvest Food Bank. At each Wawa Grand Opening Ceremony and ribbon cutting, festivities include remarks by Wawa officials, a parade of Wawa history, a charitable Hoagie Building Contest between local heroes, ribbon cutting, food sampling, games, giveaways and more.

Wa-wat's the deal with this place? People are acting like its our local version of Trader Joes

It's gas station chain from NJ. People act like it's the next best thing since sliced bread, and if so...pretty bad for the bread.

Wawa is great because it has fresh, fast food to go.
Better option than Mcdonalds or Taco Bell.

It is Da Bomb! They are big, easy to get in and out of, clean and got great prices. Fresh food rather than fast food. I'm happy to see them coming to Orlando. I hope we can get one up here in Longwood/Maitland/Altamonte Springs.

The folks in Central Florida are in for a real treat! 7-11 and RaceTrac better sharpen their game because a new sheriff is in town!!! WAWA is more than a convenience store! Great Subs and employees with a great attitude!

I, for one, am very happy and excited! After relocating to Central FL from the Northeast, I realized that I actually missed WaWa. They were very convenient, had great, reasonbly priced food, etc. Hoo-ray!

Wawa's are the best...I missed going on my lunch break and getting a delicious sesame bagel toasted with ham cheese and mayo...and the stuffed pretzels right before you were going to checkout...love it!!!!

I'm sooo excited!!! I just moved here from Delco, the original town of Wawa. I was so worried that moving meant I had to stop getting my Wawa fix. Not now. Can't wait to go get a coffee even if it's 90 out.

It's not a gas station from NJ. It's a convenience store from WaWa, PA. (That has gas). That's like calling 7/11 a gas station. This first location is genius. It's right in the middle of the time shares, or close enough so that people from the NE that know what WaWa is will feel like they are home. I've already found a site they are building in my neighborhood. Can't wait.

Wawa gas store number 5104 has participated in, knowingly or unknowingly, fraudulent credit card charges. Two unauthorized charges were made on my credit card on August 9, 2012, apparently a day after that store's grand opening. The two charges were made minutes apart. Do fraudulent credit card transactions make up part of Wawa's bottom line? I'm very upset and concerned. I seek redress to my satisfaction.

WAWA Stores 5100 and 5105 have made over $1000 in credit card fraudulent charges in 10 days on my card. Sounds like they know about it based on the number of different charges made at different stores.

The person who has your card made the charges, not the store. Am I right?
