We Feel Fine

Check out this awesome website "a database of several million human feelings, increasing by 15,000 - 20,000 new feelings per day. Using a series of playful interfaces, the feelings can be searched and sorted across a number of demographic slices, offering responses to specific questions like: do Europeans feel sad more often than Americans? Do women feel fat more often than men? Does rainy weather affect how we feel? What are the most representative feelings of female New Yorkers in their 20s? What do people feel right now in Baghdad? What were people feeling on Valentine's Day? Which are the happiest cities in the world? The saddest? And so on."We Feel Fine.

Orlando's Best Dance Party, The Movement

NBA All-Star Weekend 2012 is officially in the books and poor Orlando will be walking with a limp for the next few days. Ladies leave your weaves in, fellas dust your twinkies off; Orlando's best dance party, The Movement, is back at it this weekend. Only this time with Grammy nominated, Multi Platinum Producer, Jay-Z & Diddy Tour DJ, 1/3 of EPMDMaster of the Mix and legend: Jam Master DJ Scratch. Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie at Enzian

By Samir MathurContributing writer Staff page | Twitter | Tumblr

TIM AND DOLLAR'S BILLION DOLLAR MOVIE plays at Enzian on Friday and Saturday nights at 11.59pm. (Details and tickets)

It’s very difficult to explain Tim and Eric to someone that doesn’t know them. I must confess that I am, at best, a moderate fan of theirs. I enjoyed their first TV show, ‘Tom Goes To The Mayor’ quite a bit, but their ‘Awesome Show, Great Job!’ was always a little bit too much for me. They’re the masters of anti-comedy - holding every reaction shot for too long; repeating a catchphrase too many times; using sharp edits and extreme close ups, etc. Most of their laughs come from things that demonstrably shouldn’t be funny, but become funny for exactly that reason. Also, they are usually pretty disgusting. Basically, the TV show gave viewers a million reasons not to enjoy it, but many people loved it for exactly those reasons.

So when they came to making a feature film, Tim and Eric were faced with a dilemma…

Happiness Makes Your Brain Work Better

Well if a good belly laugh doesn't make you realize that being happy makes you feel, work, and enjoy life better than maybe this article from Inc.Com will. "A Harvard psychology researcher explains that rather than thinking of success as the source of happiness, we should think of happiness as a source of success--and one that's more under out control than we imagine."

Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour | Not a Review

By Mark Baratelli
Not a Theatre Reviewer

If Las Vegas is where celebrities go to die, then Cirque du Soleil is where dead celebrities go to be revived. First up is Michael Jackson with "Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour," playing one more night Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at 8pm at the Amway Center. Buy tickets here. Next, who knows? I bet they're already designing the costumes for "Whitney: I Will Always Love You."

Visually, the MJ show is like a Britney Spears concert, but without the reason you go to the concert: the star. The set is amazing, the experience is shockingly professional and the whole thing looked very, very expensive. Like a parade float. Some of the costumes even look like the Main Street Electrical Parade floats, with their light-up stitching and woo woo color changes. But ultimately, I was there cheering on the chorus and not the star who made all these songs famous. So yay dancer and twirlers! Ya did great! Woo woo.

The Daily City was out at the Orlando Fringe Festival Fundraiser last night at the Hardrock Live venue at Universal Orlando. Some highlights included Toxic Audio, and the bluegrass-folk band The Mud Flappers. We had a great time filled with laughs, singing, and even some dancing!
