2010 was the year of frozen yogurt, or "froyo," in Orlando. We don't have exact stats, but it seemed as if a new froyo spot popped up in every neighborhood every other day. We're not complaining. Found one today in Altamonte Springs. It was in the Walmart shopping center on 434. The exact name escapes me, but it involved Something Berry Cafe. I was thinking about giving it a try, but then decided frozen yogurt in 40 degree weather didn't quite go together.
Also, there is Yogurtopia across from UCF on Alafaya.
Yes, CeFiore in College Park is still open and has been under new management for quite awhile. They are offering daily specials and a slightly expanded menu, including coffee. I think the prices are down a little bit as well.
Also, there is Twisted Bliss in Ivanhoe Village ... it's both ice cream and froyo, but I think they're gunning for Jeremiah's with their gelati ... it looks good, but I haven't tried it yet. It's right across the street from Rock & Roll Heaven, near Artichoke Red.
i found the one in altamonte that watch me eat mentioned, its brought to us by the same folks who brought to orlando "boba milk tea" (lollicup) (have you tried those yet mark?)

There is one opening in SoDo.
There's an Orange Leaf opening this month in the Plantation Grove center on Maguire Road in Ocoee.
Its funny, when I lived in NY we went from the cupcake craze to flavored doughnuts and then on to real frozen yogurt. I think the next craze out there will be gelato, but the real thing not the gritty italian ice swirled with soft serve that I see around this city. I'm wondering if the raze in Orlando is the true yogurt or the kind like at TCBY that they call yogurt but isn't actually healthful tangy yogurt?
hey anon, I think the "gritty" thing you are thinking of is "Gelati"- we've had a Gelato in Orlando before- on Summerlin, but I guess it didn't do so well as it closed.
Chilly Spoons will be joining the Orlando FroYo chains this month next to Tijuana Flats and Floyd's 99 Barbershop (www.floydsbarbershop.com) in the SoDo area.

I've been to Twisted Bliss on Ivanhoe Row. It's super yummy and not too pricey. Plus they have a disco ball in the kitchen, how can you go wrong??
WOW!!!!! Just came from Utopit in Baldwin park. They have so many more toppings than anywhere else, and they change their flavors all the time. I'll never get bored. plus they have a price per ounce with or without toppings. Head over there! you'll thank me!

So disappointed in Orange Leaf ... stopped by today .. they were open with lots of room but only original tart for tart flavors. Why not open an Ice Cream store if you are only going to carry super sweet flavors?? uggghhhhh And why list 20 tart flavors if you aren't going to carry any?

been to almost all the froyo locations, just can't find the consistency the tutti frutti has! its so good!
Done Tutti twice. Like it and their prices. I walk out there with snacks for two for around $3. Super cheap. And its in Winter Park!
If you like real gelato you should go to Sweet Shoppe on Lake Mary Blvd. It's amazing.
Simply Frozen Yogurt near UCF is so amazing. The yogurt is is to-die- for and their fruits so Awesome! Need to visit if you haven't been there.
I went to the one in SODO and I hated it. The smallest container you could get was $5.50 and only included 2 toppings. Lame! I enjoy the fact with the other one that it is based on weight. Sucks because I would hate to see another shop in SODO fail (RIP Rockin Joes)
