Mobile food vending is a popular trend in cities like New York City, San Francisco and Portland, but it hasn't reached the masses in Orlando, despite the city having several trucks spread throughout the city. Taco Truck Taste Test was created by The Daily City to bring awareness of mobile food vending to Orlando through a basic food meetup scenario: sampling new dishes in a pre-planned group setting. On the day of a Taco Truck Taste Test, we meet at the designated taco truck, read a translated menu (provided by TheDailyCity.com), try the food and drink together and experience not only the new food but the location, neighborhood and local culture we may have never notices speeding by in our cars before.
