May 27, 2009: At noon in downtown Orlando on the corner of Orange Ave and Church Street, PETA stationed a working shower with two "naked" women (in flesh-colored spanx, ill-fitting gold heels and nothing else) behind a high-rise shower curtain to make the point that a lot of water is used in meat production. The women bathed in white suds and rinsed off from water dripping from a squirting sack labeled "PETA." A few sexy-but-not-as-sexy-as-those-two-women volunteers held signs in front of the display which read "Meat is Ungreen." See all the photos. Photo and Video Credit: Mark Baratelli

Wack. They should have been COMPLETELY naked if they wanted to get their point across. I'm still going to eat meat because their protest was lame, and I didn't get the message of their protest due to the fact they weren't totally nude.
Apparently the pictures (and early media coverage of the event) was not enough to remind you that Orlando gets it's collective panties in a wad when you go out without panties! Thanks for the coverage, but you got one thing wrong (even with the pics right there), the signs are Meat's Not Green. Visit goveg.com to learn the truth about how we raise and kill animals for food and you may change your love of meat. BTW, your favorite vendor at Fringe, Loving Hut, is the latest all vegan restuarant in Orlando, so you may have already enjoyed vegan food!
Ya got me! I did write "Meat is Ungreen" instead of "Meat's Not Green." Sorry about that. The Loving Hut is indeed vegan and was indeed voted "Best Food Vendor" of the 2009 Orlando Fringe Festival by the patrons of the Orlando Fringe. And I vote YOU GUYS my favorite downtown event of 2009. Keep up the fabulous (and panty-covered) fun.
I'm going to eat EXTRA meat until they go completely naked. Sure the cops will cuff them and, um, stuff them... but that will make the video even better!

I will continue to commit to eat meat until THEY commit to getting nekkid.
