Friday, June 5, 2009 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm is the "First Friday Art Stroll at Ivanhoe Village." "The art galleries and shops of Ivanhoe Village open their doors to local artists to showcase their work." There is supposed to be drinks, food and live music as well. Ivanhoe Village, or IV as we are now calling it, is the small cluster of shops on Orange Ave between New Hampshire and Princeton Aves. We've never been to this event before, so enter into it with fear and judgment.

Actually, Ivanhoe Village is the area along N. Orange Avenue from Magnolia to the hospital and from I-4 to Mills. It includes Ivanhoe Row, Virginia Drive, Loch Haven Park, Lake Formosa Neighborhood, Gaston Edwards Park and the Florida Hospital Health Village. It's an awesome area so check it out!
Jim O'Rourke & Brian Chodorcoff will play Ivanhoe Village for tomorrows First Friday. Great way to start your weekend!
