Wanna support local businesses? Shop local. Duh. Here's a program that encourages it. They even ask you to send them an email pledging to do it. I say ask people to keep track of it publicly. On their blog, their twitter, everywhere. Share with people you know what you bought, where you bought it and what the experience was like in that local shop or business. The more you talk about something, the more people will normalize and internalize it. (Source: Pulse of Central Florida)
