I love SAK, but is that really a "getaway"? I am spoiled by the deals like this you get in London where you pay £25 for dinner and a show, and then you walk out of Les Mis...
I admire their spirit, though. I'd buy one. In fact, I might just to check it out!
I sent this question to Red Chair Project and they said they'd get back to me.
From what I understood (and I am not a spokesperson nor an employee of Red Chair) there are two different offerings from Red Chair: "Neopolitan Saturdaze Packages" (as seen on the ad on this blog) and "Orlando Arts Getaways."
Maybe this post had a typo? We'll find out soon.
Hi Ryan,
I started blogging/posting updates for Red Chair Project pretty recently. (Hi, I'm Melissa.)
There isn't a typo in my post; it's definitely verbatim from the web site. There's a chance that OAG are becoming more and more associated with SaturDAZE.
Whether it's Getways or SaturDAZE, they are packaged places to go to in Central FL. The old logo also includes Hotels, but I don't see that listed anymore either.
You can find outings that spoil you European style, too, at Red Chair Project. The sales team can create a custom package for you from events like Don Quixote to Avenue Q and Mamma Mia. At least, those were the upcoming all-the-rage performances when I went to London a few months ago.
Just to make sure, I've asked someone else who works there so it's not confusing in the future -- whether it's SAK or Les Mis. :)
Thanks!
Thanks for asking about all this.
OAG are still event + dining package deals, and SaturDAZE is one type of package. The staff are working on launching new Getaways pages. Until then, the two seem merged on some of the postings, and I'll do what I can to distinguish (& if not, I can just bribe SAK to break out into a musical mid-show). Thanks!
